It was the long Mayday weekend, and we were the only car on a deserted back road.  Suddenly, we noticed an unusual sight, a group of young Germans dragging what appeared at a distance to be a wooden cart on fire.  As we drove closer, we could see that they were pulling a cart that had a charcoal burner cooking sausage on one end and an ice chest full of beer on the other end.  We stopped to talk and take this photo.  The ladies in the party did not want their picture taken by a strange American couple driving a back road.
